I think it’s important to mention that Chris Clavin is in this documentary. This was filmed several years before the accusations against him surfaced. As you watch this, you should bear these accusations in mind. Demand accountability,
support the victims, do not perpetuate rape culture. (https://imgur.com/D8IBhW0,f25kJsE | https://imgur.com/a/11Bzz)

  1. This stuff is always really inspiring. I was in bands as a kid and we put out our own 7 inches: it's the way to go. This DIY/punk aesthetic is dying off now…this really moved me. Turn of Youtube and reality TV and make some noise!

  2. my first experience with DIY punk was at wrangler studios, november 2017, I saw AJJ, it was an all ages show and that show changed my life, when I was screaming the lyrics as loud as I can and dancing around, there was something I've never felt before, it was a feeling you won't get anywhere else.

I talked to sean bonette while the opening acts were on and on that day I met people that I may never forget, that was an experience that you truly won't get anywhere else, I love everyone who helped make this community so widespread, it really helped me change as a person.

  3. I just wanted to write something bleak and shallow, i do my art because Zippity Boopity and 3/4 of a Boopty-Doo(p)
Insert "Duh" and label this extensive use of the B-Roll by someone named ______________

    – Mike-L-O-Holic from the band Shittsy Boopty Gangbang Brother of Chuck Whatwuild guitarist from "Himalayan frozenCorpse-Fuckers With bashful hyenas"

  4. Thank you for putting this up on YouTube. How can we apply the DIY ethic beyond the music scene? To enable a culture where people can become more self-reliant, buy less shit, and share ideas with others… Open and accessible bicycle collectives, makerspaces, and hackerspaces are a good start, but I'm wondering if anyone reading this comment has additional input or experience.

  5. Reminds me of how the pioneers of punk rock like black flag and that era did things watch the film American hardcore you'll know what I'm talking about

  6. diy punk.. so Grateful to see the scene thrive.. this is honest music from the inter soul of every musician!!!! and how come i never hear of punk bands down here in Louisville???????? same beliefs and views of music and the human interactions is why i became a Deadhead, FAMILY, forever Grateful Forever Dead,, stay punk forever
